Being scared means you're about to win

"Being scared means you're about to do something brave" - Unknown

Every successful person you look up to started exactly where you are right now.

Scared shitless of taking that first step.

I remember when I was about to post my first piece of content online, my hands were literally shaking.

I had recorded and deleted that video probably 10 times before finally hitting publish.

And you know what happened?

Nothing.

Literally nothing happened.

No one made fun of me, no one criticized me, and the few people who did see it actually supported me.

Truth is, we build up these massive scenarios in our head about what could go wrong.

But 99% of the time, those scenarios never happen.

And even in that 1% chance something does go wrong, it's never as bad as what you imagined.

I've posted hundreds of pieces of content since then, and yeah, sometimes I get hate comments or people trying to bring me down.

But here's what I realized.

Those people who talk shit about you taking action are the same ones too scared to do anything themselves.

They're sitting on their couch, scrolling through social media, and trying to make themselves feel better by bringing others down.

Meanwhile you're out there actually doing something with your life.

Being scared doesn't go away, you just get better at dealing with it.

Every time I try something new in business or put myself out there, that fear comes back.

But now I use it as a compass.

If something scares me, it usually means I need to do it.

So whatever you're afraid of doing right now, that's exactly what you need to do.

Take that first step.

Post that first video.

Send that first cold email.

Start that business.

Because a year from now, you'll wish you had started today.
